Progressive punk-ska rockers from Mississauga, The Knockouts remain the band to watch in the GTA indie scene.
Fronting the band are Justin Zoltek and Skinny Anto on lead guitars and lead vocals respectively. As educated musicians, Justin and Skinny have gigged together for the better part of six years. Both share song writing duties almost exclusively with help from drummer extraordinaire Jeremy Kleynhans. Holding down the bottom end is bassist Thomas Dallan, whose entire game is propulsion with simplicity. Rounding out the line-up are The Knockettes: trombonist Emily Ferrell, bari saxophonist Dana Gray and trumpeter Erin Ellison. They have sold over 2,000 units of their Demo (2005) to dedicated fans all over Ontario, and over 1,000 units of their 2007 full-length album “Main Attraction”.
